Privacy policy

Scholaria is an information guide. It has no accounts, no forms and no advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not collect personal data from visitors. The controller for this site is Maxim Yaroshenko, contact hello@scholaria.eu.

What stays in your browser

Your shortlist ("My schools"), the schools you compare, your display currency and your choice of map are stored only in your browser (local storage). They are never sent to us, and you can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

Server logs

Like any website, our server records the IP address, time and requested page for security purposes. These logs are kept for up to 14 days and are not used for any other purpose.

Contacting schools

We do not pass any information to schools. When you follow a link to a school's website, or call or e-mail a school, you deal with the school directly and its own privacy policy applies.

Map

The street map from OpenStreetMap loads only when you press Show street map; your browser then requests map images from OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address.

Visit statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. To measure visits, your browser sends Cloudflare technical data such as the page address, the referring site and the page load time.

Your rights

If you write to us by e-mail, we use your message only to reply and delete it within 12 months. You may ask for access, correction or deletion by writing to hello@scholaria.eu, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Spain: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
